CulturaI Nursing - Cultural competencies of nurses: descriptive study
Background: Over the last few years there has been an increase in the migratory flow, creating the need for a level of multicultural assistance in the area of health. Nurses, as front-line healthcare professionals in the national health service, have increasingly been faced with the need to demonstrate knowledge and capacity for clinical practice that respects users' cultural differences. Assessing the level of cultural competences of nurses is relevant to identify possible needs for integrating these domains into training paths.
Goals: Identify the level of cultural competences of nurses and analyze perceptions about the experience of multicultural care.
